This machine operates at twice the speed of a horizontal double-head tapping machine, primarily due to its elimination of the need for tap reversal and retraction after each tapping cycle. The tap fully penetrates the workpiece and then drops into a dedicated tap carrier device. A mechanical gripper automatically loads the tap and proceeds to process the next workpiece, enabling continuous, high-efficiency operation.
